Instant Pot Bone Broth

If you aren’t already making bone broth regularly, I’d encourage you to start!  Bone broth is one of the most healing foods for the digestive system. You can sip it straight, especially if you’re sick, or use it in recipes.

Benefits of Bone Broth:

  • Rich in protein, amino acids, minerals & collagen

  • Reduces joint pain and inflammation

  • Improves your immune system - especially helpful when you’re sick

  • Treats leaky gut syndrome - The gelatin in the bones help seal up holes in intestines which helps with food intolerances and allergies

I used the bones from my whole chicken recipe a couple of days ago.  I also used the instant pot as you get the same amazing benefits without cooking for 8+ hours on the stove top.

Save the bones next time you eat meat and store in the freezer, along with any vegetable scraps.  You can also find meat bones sold in most Asian markets.
