Strawberry Salsa



This Strawberry Salsa make a beautiful appetizer for Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day or any gathering. It’s easy to make, vibrant, and definitely a crowd pleaser!


I replaced the tomatoes traditionally in salsas with strawberries and also added Kiwano Melon which has similar taste and texture to cucumbers. Try strawberries or any other fruit for a fun and different way to serve salsa!




Strawberry Salsa


1 pint strawberries, hulled and diced

1/2 Kiwano Melon, seeds and pulp

4 oz blueberries

1 Jalapeno, seeded and diced

1/2 red onion, diced

1/2 cup cilantro, chopped

Juice of a lime

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Mix everything together in a bowl and serve with chips.
