Sosie Roussanne

You don’t see Roussanne available in most stores - less than 400 acres in all of California as it’s fussy and difficult to grow.

The grapes are small and grows in clusters which do not allow for much air between the grapes and makes it easy not to develop.

It’s found mostly in Southern France where it’s blended into white blends with Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and sometimes Viognier.

This is a very well done Rhone - style wine made in California.. Aged in neutral oak, it is floral and earthy with notes of apricot, pear, mango, peach and spices. Has great acidity with a slight herbal finish.
