Salsa Pulled Pork

Salsa Pulled Pork - very easy to make and you can use the crock pot or instant pot to make this tender, delicious pork. Add pork, your favorite spices, and salsa and that’s it!

Shred the pork to use for sandwiches, tacos, filling for enchiladas, burrito bowl, sliders, etc.

Ingredients 3-4 lbs boneless pork shoulder or pork butt Any Spices such as: salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, oregano, taco seasoning, etc 1 jar (about 2 cups) salsa

Directions Add pork to crock pot or instant pot. (If it’s big, I usually cut in 2-3 pieces) Rub with your favorite spices. Add salsa

- Crock pot - cook on low for 8-10 hours - Instant Pot - cook for45- 60 minutes (depending on size), release pressure after 15 minutes.

Take out half of the juice from the pot and set aside. Shred the pork and add more juice if needed, while shredding. (How much liquid you need depends on if you’re making tacos, enchiladas, bowls, etc) Reserve any remaining liquid to use for reheating or to make soups, stews, etc.
