Frozen Yogurt Bars

Make healthy frozen yogurt bars at home! These are great for breakfast, snack, or dessert. Use your favorite greek yogurt brand / flavor and top with your favorite berries, fruit or toppings.

Here are some options:

  • Stir in protein powder to yogurt for pre / post workout snack

  • Stir in vanilla

  • Stir in whipped heavy cream or coconut cream for extra creaminess

  • Stir in pureed berries or fruit

  • Pour yogurt into ice cube trays and add various toppings. (can add popsicle sticks).

This would be a fun project for kids to create their own bars or make different variations for family with vegan yogurt or topping options.

All you need to do is: spread yogurt in a pan lined with parchment paper, add toppings and freeze. That's it!

Frozen Yogurt Bars

  • 2 cups greek yogurt ( or more as desired)

  • 1-3 Tablespoons honey or sweetener

  • Optional Toppings: berries, fruit, granola, oats, dried fruit, chocolate chips, nuts, coconut flakes, etc.

Add honey or sweetener to yogurt container and stir together ( or mix yogurt and honey in a bowl).

Line a baking pan /dish or tupperware ( that will fit in your freezer) with parchment paper. Use extra paper so you can easily lift the bars with excess parchment once frozen.

Pour yogurt evenly onto the pan and spread based on how thick or thin you want the bars.

Sprinkle desired toppings on top and freeze for at least 2 hours or until completely frozen ( time depends on thickness).

Lift parchment paper, place on a work surface. Use a knife to cut into bars or any shape / size desired and serve immediately (treat like ice cream). Store leftovers in a ziploc bag or container in the freezer.
